I’m Jimmy Toungate — host of Offroad X Files — and I’ve lived a life full of twists, trails, and transformation. ​

 

Originally from Central Texas, I moved to Washington State in 2004, driven by a desire to rebuild my life and chase adventure, which led me to commercial fishing in Alaska. ​

 

Over the years, I’ve worn a lot of hats: professional cowboy, radio DJ, and for over a decade, a Senior Risk Manager at the world’s leading cloud service provider, specializing in fraud prevention. ​ But when I’m not tracking fraud, I’m deep in the backcountry.

 

I’m an award-winning landscape and lifestyle photographer, a trail guide, and the leader of Bad Company Overland. ​

 

My passion for the unexplained led me to become an active Sasquatch researcher, field investigator and filmmaker.

 

I'm also the host of the SasqWatch: Beyond the Footprint annual conference held in Randle, WA. ​
