Future Expeditions
British Columbia - Late Spring 2027

We are planning a week-long expedition to the Harrison Hot Springs area of British Columbia.
Harrison Hot Springs holds a legendary place in cryptozoology as the historic birthplace of modern Sasquatch research and lore. Long considered a sacred area steeped in Sts'ailes (Chehalis) Indigenous traditions, the region first entered the broader public consciousness in the 1920s when local Indian agent J.W. Burns documented regional oral histories and popularized the Anglicized term "Sasquatch". The area solidified its status as a epicenter for Bigfooter's in the late 1950s after local journalist John Green and Swiss researcher René Dahinden, two foundational figures in Sasquatch investigation, launched high-profile, town-sponsored expeditions out of Harrison Hot Springs to hunt for the cryptid. Today, as host to early historical archives, classic sighting reports, and annual Bigfoot conferences, Harrison Hot Springs remains an essential pilgrimage site and symbol of cultural heritage for researchers and enthusiasts worldwide.

We are currently putting together a citizen scientist team for this expedition and may open a few slots up to the public later this year. Once a date is set, we will be applying for any needed permits for filming, etc. Stay tuned for updates!
